Qualification:

Minimum 2 years working experience as a Quality and Environmental Officer in a 3, 4 or 5 star hotel is a must.
UAE working experience is desirable.
Must have good command of English language both spoken and written.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 and Sustainable Development programs is desirable
Knowledge, skills & competencies:

The ideal candidate should be committed, enthusiastic, with good communication, interpersonal and people skills, always smiling, good grooming and projects positive attitude at all times.
Should have a very good understanding of his job, able to take decision and responsibility, customer focused, flexible and able to adapt in the hotel operation at all times.
Able to handle pressure and with a high sense of teamwork
Able to meet deadlines is a must.
The scope of work is as follows:

Quality:

- To maintain ISO 9001 certification for Ibis and hotels

- Create and submit the daily/monthly quarterly required statistics reports

- Analyze different audit results and prepare and follow up on action plans together with the HOD’s

- Collect and analyze guest comments, from different channels and prepare statistics of the reoccurrences

- Build up action plan on the reoccurrences

- Maintain responses on all possible channels social media channels included

- Maintain “Tust You” web reputation statistics, responses

- Maintain the Hotel Data on Accor Sustainable Development website

- Observe and prepare monthly report on staff behavior and grooming and liaise with Training Department for implementation of On the Job training

- Conduct the necessary training regarding the Quality management

Environmental:

- To maintain ISO 14001 for Ibis and Novotel /Suite Novotel and Earth Check certifications

- Create and submit the daily/monthly quarterly required statistics reports

- Analyze different audit results and prepare and follow up on action plans together with the HOD’s

- Give support to the operation and coordinate all Planet 21 actions to be implemented

- Maintain the Hotel Data on Accor Sustainable Development website

- Coordinate all social Activities inside or outside the hotels related to Environment in coordination with HR Department

- Coordinate with the Head Office all Accor Environmental project

- Conduct the necessary trainings regarding Environmental Management

This position will be required to directly report to the General Manager of Suite Novotel Mall of the Emirates
